I grew up all over Idaho in many small towns across the state. I graduated high school in 2000 and enrolled at the University of Idaho, where I earned my BA on English and later obtained my secondary teaching certification after completing my student teaching internship at Moscow Jr. High. I also worked as a tutor through the U of I for two semesters where I tutored students from over 13 different countries.
I have been working at Challis Jr.-Sr. High since 2010, teaching 10th-12th grade English Literature and Composition, as well as teaching Public Speaking for two years and 9-12 Humanities for two years. I have also taught dual credit English courses through the University of Idaho since 2013. In my spare time I coached/advised a high school drama club four years and have served on the Sr. Project Committee since 2013.
My hobbies include singing karaoke and attending concerts with my husband and taking care of our cats. My passions are art, film, music and writing.
