School Safety is priority #1

Challis Joint School District #181 strives to maintain the absolute safest school environments when you leave your children in our care. We are governed, regarding safety, by the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety. This agency performs an annual inspection on all of our facilities, and I am proud to report that the total number of discrepancies has steadily decreased in recent years. If you would like a copy of this report, please e-mail me @ bwilliams@d181.k12.id.us and I would be more than happy to supply one. The entire school district staff understands the tremendous responsibility placed upon us to provide safe and productive facilities for your children to grow in and we take that responsibility with a great deal of pride and respect. If you have any suggestions on how we might improve upon safety issues district-wide, please let us know and we will address them accordingly. Input from the community is always welcome and encouraged.
