My name is Kari Alexander.  I am excited to be teaching third grade this year.  I have spent the last three years as the principal at Challis Junior Senior High School and decided last spring that  I wanted to return to my passion...teaching.  I have been with the Challis School district since 2003.  

I received my teaching degree from California State University of Sacramento. I have resided in the Challis area for 26 years.  I have raised two children that are graduates of CJSHS.  My daughter is a Range Scientist in Wyoming and my son has a geology degree and is a professional ultra-runner.  I have a wonderful chocolate lab, Gus, that lights up my world.
